Restaurant in Asheville, NC

I am so blessed to be an Asheville, NC native. We have the best food, the nicest people and a fabulous selection of beer and ciders. Occasionally we like to head out and try restaurants that are new to us. Today was a great day for brunch.

Kitchen 743/ISIS Music Hall

We headed out to Kitchen 743. They have a large outdoor dining patio that faces green open space. We chose to sit outdoors. They have 9 items on their brunch menu with some interesting selections.

My Order

I went with Huevos Rancheros. Sliced beef tenderloin with sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, topped with cheddar cheese, black beans and two over easy eggs.  Sour cream, salsa, and flour tortillas.

Mitch’s Order

My husband ordered the French Toast. This was not everyday French Toast. Annie Challah bread, egg battered and rolled in crushed Nilla wafers, topped with fruit melange, pineapples, strawberries, and blueberries,   Chantilly cream, a maple sea salt caramel sauce and a side of bacon.

Sensuous Feast

When our entrees arrived they were simply beautiful! The Huevos Rancheros were incredible.  The sliced beef tenderloin was so tender with so much flavor, salsa, black beans added a special touch.  The portion was a perfect size. Now to the French Toast. Oh my goodness.  It was incredible.  Of course, I had to have a few bites. Mitch is not a huge sweet lover but he was definitely in heaven.  Portion size on this was enough for two people.

Pleased Customers

We hit the jackpot on this pick.  Both of us loved what we ordered. This is located in West Asheville.  The price for both of us was $31 and some change. They have a nice cocktail menu but we both stuck with water today.

Let me know if you go and what you think.
