Eco-Friendly Beauty Products

In 2012 Ethique started making formulas in their kitchen in Christchurch, New Zealand.  They started because they felt hair and skin care needed concentrated and sustainable products without the packaging.

Bars-No Bottles

Bars, no bottles, no harsh chemicals. Each bar is packed full of good things that will bring out the best in your skin and hair. They last for ages.  One bar can last as long as five bottles of your favorite products. There is no water which means no preservatives.

Ethique uses minimal, sustainable, biodegradable packaging for all of its bars. You can just toss the packaging into the compost knowing that it won’t hurt our precious oceans, cruelty-free and vegan.  They are diligent in ensuring that none of their ingredients are tested on animals,  products are palm oil free and their Christchurch-based lab and manufacturing facility is powered by 100% renewable energy.

My Take Away

Using eco-friendly products improves the quality of life in terms of mortality, age, diseases, and illnesses. I just heard about this company recently.  It makes sense that we need to cut down on plastics. I am excited about this company and hope there will be many more that will make changes to become environmentally friendly. Another fact that I love about Ethique is they donate 2% of revenue or 20% of profit (whichever is higher) to charity. My goal is to do my part to ensure the safety of our families and our planet.
